RIDGE MEADOWS DISH
February 28, 2012
Perseus, son of Zeus and the mortal Danae was, according to Greek Mythology, the one whom slay the Titan Medusa to save the ancient city of Argos.
Perseus, is also a delightful winery in Penticton, British Columbia. Originally known under the Synergy Winery and Vineyards in 2009, the name changed in 2010 to reflect the new vision. Owned by Rob Ingram, Sam Elia and Bob Hole via Terrabella.
2010 saw the birth of the tasting room which is built in a 1950's homestead. The warmth of the Lower Bench and residential neighborhood gives Perseus a charming personality. Open daily from spring until fall to curious wine lovers in search of 'immortality' via a bold glass of Shiraz Cabernet.
Hockey fans can indulge in a rare vintage: Special Edition Hockey Hall of Fame Invictus.
Whether you are looking for a full bodied red like Tempus or a light crisp white like Pinot Grigio, Perseus Winery delivers in mythic excellence.
